Im asking for a refund of $95.40 as of now. I suggest they get ahead of any kind of recourse as soon as possible. While this complaint may sit here seemingly a waste of my time and energy, one day something will happen and legal action will be pursued. Resume-Now should refund all of its customers to make them whole and issue an apology. I have very little money and fall below 150% of the poverty line. Others have been charged more for longer periods. In my particular situation Ive been charged for 4 months even after immediately cancelling my free trial the singular day of use I had. With their treatment in customer service they are clearly prepared for situations like this which says to me within their business model this is a feature and not a bug. Their lack of transparency with their customers is abhorrent and they even use language to state that theyre somehow exempt from class action type suits but well see on that one. They will respond to this complaint with their policy stating the ins and outs of a typical subscription service as tho that relieved them of responsibility. People like myself are being continuously charged for a service even when they cancel the free trial. Im not the only one with this complaint but they do not abide by good faith transparency for the sake of the people who use the site. My free indeed resume has gotten me alot more job interviews vs resume now i got passed over bc of the length and bad resume style i bought 4 $120 All because i needed a job and wanted help with building the best resume. My water bill is past due and i need this money before i get shut off. I asked for a call back and i keep getting generic robo emails with useless phone numbers. I asked that i be refunded $23.95 for the months of march to july 2023 and if not at least for the current charge of $23.95 that was still in process of being charged as of the date i emailed them! They emailed me back stating they would only refund me $11.93 bc of days used in the new cycle?! I refused this answer since it had not even been 24 hours, it dont add up to $12! I feel i should be refunded from march to july the total was about $119. I contacted resume now the same day i was charged in July. Come to find out ive been being charged $23.95 from march till the last charge being between july *****th of 2023. I am currently out of work and a single mom of 5. Between july 21st and 25th i was going through my bank account to see what i could cut out financially due to the death of my husband. I Never heard back at all and it fell off my radar. I havent been on this site since emailing them back in March 2023. Time got away from me and bc i have multiple subscriptions it wasnt on my radar that i was still being charged for resume now. I tried calling but it just rang and rang picked up and then i got hung up on. I tried to cancel the subscription before the end of the end of the 14 days and clicked cancel but it kept reading that i still had an account. After negative feedback from potential employers about the length and too many details in the resume i decided to not continue business with this company. Back in March 2023 i was wanting to revamp my resume and i found resume now.
